AYSEL GÖZÜBÜYÜK (Bayburt, 1952)

2013 yılında Hacettepe Üniversitesi, GSF, Resim Bölümünde, Sanatta Yeterlik Sanat Çalışmasını tamamladım, 1999 yılından beri AGSANAT Galerisini yönetmekteyim. Yurtdışı ve yurtiçinde dokuz kişisel sergi açtım ve pek çok jürili ve karma sergiye katıldım. Toplumsal Dönüşümün ortaya çıkardığı ayrışma ve çelişkilerden esinlenerek temel insanlık problemlerinden ayrımcılık, çalışmalarımın temasını oluşturur. Bir çeşit hikaye anlatıcısı olduğumu düşünmeme rağmen, hikayeden çok onu nasıl anlatacağımı önemserim. Grotesk, varlıkların sıra dışı özelliklerle yeniden tasarlanarak dünyaya ait ol mayan bir olgu haline getirilme sanatıdır.  İnsana dair olgular ve olay örgüleri de çoğu kez, groteskte olduğu gibi bir arada olamayacak kadar aykırı ve saçmadır bu yüzden resimlerimde sıklıkla kullandığım grotesk imgeler, Toplumsal Değişimin bir metaforu olarak görülebilir.

I manage Aysel Gözübüyük Gallery since 1999. I graduated from Hacettepe University, FAE, Efficiency in Art in 2013. I have participated in group exhibitions as well as nine solo exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. Leading from the conflicts derived from individuals relations with the society, I refer to basic humanity problems such as racism, gender or class discrimination. Although I think I’m a narrator, I focus on how to tell the story rather than the story itself. I considers the human body especially the expressive portraits allows me to render my thoughts.  Grotesque, alienate the world, with an area of fun, imaginative, unusual features redesigned assets do not belong to the world are put into a case of art. Human cases, a combination of plots to be contrary to the often contradictory and absurd. This may be a metaphor for the grotesque sense of social life.
